This year’s Indigenous Reconciliation Fund Collection is October 4–5: On the weekend of October 4–5, parishes across our Diocese will take up the annual collection for the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund (IRF). The fund supports healing and reconciliation, culture and language revitalization, education, and dialogue with Indigenous communities. Pope Francis reminded us when he visited Canada that the Lord calls us “to be artisans of a new history, weavers of hope, builders of the future, peacemakers.” Please give generously and pray for reconciliation here on Prince Edward Island and across Canada.
