The Latin American Mission Program (LAMP) invites PEI residents to an interactive community forum entitled, Climate Change: Climate Justice “From Words to Action”. On May 26th from 1:30 -4:00 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall, Stratford. There is no charge for the forum. Pre-registration is preferred before May 21 by calling Marie at 902-894-4573 or by e-mail burgemarie@gmail.com. The goal of the forum is to inspire more people to make deeper and wider commitments to organized action to stop climate change at its roots. The guest speaker is Ann Wheatley, environmentalist and member of Cooper Institute. Her topic is The Current Economic System: Generating and Denying Global Warming. All are welcome.
