In his encyclical Laudato si’, Pope Francis speaks of the earth as our common home which “is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us” (1). Pope Francis also invites us to ask ourselves what kind of earth we want to leave to our children (160). In light of this call to care for Earth, the Martha Spirituality Centre is hosting an Earth Day concert which will be held in the chapel at the Mount Continuing Care Community (141 Mount Edward Road) on Earth Day, April 22 at 7pm.
