Commonwealth Day Observance: The Royal Commonwealth Society of PEI invites you to attend its annual Commonwealth Day Observance on Mon., March 11th at The Kirk of St. James, starting at 7pm. The theme of Commonwealth Day 2019 is “A Connected Common- wealth”. The celebration includes the Message from Her Majesty the Queen read by the Lieutenant Governor of PEI. The names of the 53 Commonwealth member countries will be read as their flags are presented by Sea, Army, Air, and Navy League Cadets. The highly acclaimed PEI Regiment Band will provide music. There will be a free-will offering and light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
