A Living CHRISTmas Journey, at Sacred Heart Parish, Alberton, December 16 and 18, 6:00-8:00 p.m. is an opportunity to slow down and focus on the real Christmas story: the story of the Nativity, of Mary and Joseph’s journey, of the shepherds’ fears, and the angel’s reassurance of news of great joy, of the significance of Jesus Christ being born in a manger in a humble stable.
It’s an opportunity to broaden our experience of Christmas, to encounter spiritual growth, to understand the real, original meaning of Christmas, to demonstrate to children what Christmas is really about…so much more than the stockings and packages full of toys. Through “Live Scenes” and listening to readings from Luke’s Gospel, you will be moved by the gift of Christ in our lives, and experience the joy of the blessing of Christmas.
