Pope Francis: has designated September 1 each year as World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. A special ecumenical service will be held at 7 pm, Saturday, September 1 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall to celebrate this event. Leo Marchildon is assembling a choir for this beautiful service, and those who wish to participate are invited to attend a one-time choral rehearsal on Wednesday August 29th at 6:30 pm in the church.
