THE 2ND ANNUAL BLESSED JOHN HENRY NEWMAN DINNER:Tickets are now on sale for The Second Annual Blessed John Henry Newman Dinner which will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Rodd Char’town. Reception is at 6 pm followed by a formal dinner at 7 pm.
Following dinner, Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, CEO of Salt and Light media and English-Language Attaché to the Holy See Press Office, will speak on “Cardinal Newman & Pope Francis on Restoring Citizenship to those in Exodus.”
Tickets are $80 per person or a table of 10 is $750. Proceeds support special collaborations between UPEI’s Catholic Studies programme and the Canadian Catholic Students’ Association with a charitable tax receipt offered for a portion of the ticket price.
